A bit about the role

Join an exciting team which supports and manages sport and recreation facilities and services across Wyndham City. Reporting to the Team Leader Leisure Facilities Contracts Management, this role offers a pivotal opportunity to help shape the direction of sport and recreation into the future and have meaningful impact through partnership and collaboration with a range of service providers, contract partners and community groups.

What you’ll deliver

  • Administration to ensure effective day to day operation of an allocated portfolio of Sport & Recreation facilities
  • Capacity building and development support to service providers and community organisations
  • Input into policy development, capital planning and delivery
  • Strong stakeholder relationships and engagement


What you’ll bring

  • A positive, curious and flexible attitude
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Skills in problem solving and conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of working with sport and recreation facilities and their operations
  • Experience in a Leisure Centre setting desirable
  • Experience in the provision of development initiatives that grow participation or the capacity of service providers
  • Tertiary qualification in Sport Management, Community Development or an aligned discipline
