A bit about the role

This role supports the achievement of the Wyndham 2040 strategy through active partnership across the organisation to support and continuously improve key risk and compliance information. The role also contributes to the development of the enterprise risk profile and supports project risk management across the organisation.

The primary focus of the role is enabling performance of the internal audit function, acting as liaison between the business and the internal audit service provider. This includes facilitating the development and delivery of the audit plan, monitoring management action delivery and validating action completion.


What you’ll deliver

·    Design and facilitate the delivery of a robust internal audit plan.

·    Serve as key liaison for all internal audit activity across the organisation.

·    Coordinate oversight, tracking and delivery of management actions resulting from internal audit activity.

·    Fulfill secretariat duties for the Audit & Risk Committee.

·    Improve documentation of the enterprise risk & control environment.

·    Provide advice through collaboration with risk team members and key business stakeholders.


What you’ll bring

·    Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to build relationships, influence and engage.

·    Excellent communication skills, written and verbal coupled with highly developed analytical skills.

·    Tertiary qualification or relevant specialist certification in risk, compliance or internal audit.

·    Extensive experience in governance, risk, compliance, or internal audit management.

·    Demonstrated experience in designing, executing and closing out internal audit activities.

·    A positive, curious and flexible attitude.
