About the role

As the Training Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of Wyndham City’s Business Transformation Program by designing, developing, and delivering the program-wide training strategy that supports employees through the scalable change. You will partner closely with project teams, business leaders, and subject matter experts to ensure that all training materials, methods, and delivery channels meet the needs of a diverse workforce. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery.

 

What your day will look like

  • Work closely with project teams, business leaders, subject matter experts, and change specialists to translate change impacts into a training needs analysis, ensuring training is targeted and relevant.

  • Provide direction, support, and quality assurance to Training Analysts in the design, development, and delivery of learning materials. Ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with program objectives.

  • Review and facilitate approval of agreed training materials making sure they are clear, engaging, and fit-for-purpose. Be hands-on in creating materials where required to meet program needs and timelines.

  • Plan and manage the delivery schedule across different business areas, using a mix of classroom, virtual, and self-paced learning methods to reach all audiences.

  • Gather learner feedback and adoption data, and turn this into improvements for training content, methods, and delivery.

  • Keep employee needs at the centre of all training decisions, ensuring training is accessible, practical, and effective in building capability and confidence.


What you will bring

 

  • A degree or diploma in education, training, organisational development, human resources, or a related field, with several years’ experience in training and capability development.

  • Experience leading training initiatives in large-scale business transformation or technology implementation programs.

  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and content development platforms.

  • Ability to work with change specialists to translate change impacts into targeted training needs.

  • Proven track record of guiding and coaching training teams or analysts to deliver quality, consistent content.

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills to manage multiple training deliverables and timelines.
