A bit about the role

If you love tempering your office based role with the occasional site visit, you have a good understanding of the Road Management Act and have customer service experience in a local or State Government setting, read on.

In this role, you will be responsible for investigating technical issues raised by the public, service authorities, public transport providers and consultants to develop outcomes that maintain Wyndham's policies and standards, whilst also ensuring the city is a safe and better place to live.

What you’ll deliver

  • Investigating issues
  • Liaising with service authorities, public transport providers and other stakeholders

What you’ll bring

  • Good understanding of the Road Management Act
  • Well developed ability to read and interpret engineering drawings from various authorities including City West Water, Powercor and NBN
  • Good understanding of drainage systems and other infrastructure services
  • Good understanding of road pavement composition
  • Confidence using the standard Microsoft suite
  • A positive, curious and flexible mind
