A bit about the role

This is your opportunity to change it up and work on more than just one type of vehicle in this council business unit that operates like an internal dealership.

 

You will service and repair a variety of vehicles ranging from small cars to industrial mowers, street sweepers and small trucks. There are loads of opportunities for increasing your skills in servicing, welding and parts fabrication. You’ll also benefit from periodical specialist training.

 

What you’ll bring

  • Qualification in relevant trade
  • Victorian Heavy Rigid drivers licence (desirable) 
  • Experience in service and maintenance of heavy plant and equipment including small plant
  • Forklift License (desirable)
  • High Risk Work License – Class DG (desirable)
