About the role

You will work with contracted providers to ensure our early years and family facilities deliver services and spaces that align with community needs. You will foster positive relationships and facilitate collaboration and partnerships between and across groups with key agencies, organisations and community groups in order to achieve this.

 

We are looking for someone who will establish a local face to face presence with all stakeholders in order to engage and identify community needs and to ensure the successful delivery of key projects.

 

In this senior role within the Family and Sector Partnerships Unit you will have the freedom to work autonomously and control your work day, in return, you must be ambitious, self-motivated and results driven.  This position has flexible working conditions and provides opportunity for learning, development and career progression.

You will deliver:
  • The streamlining of operational procedures for the requests for tender (RFT) processes.
  • The formation of influential partnerships with a range of diverse stakeholders.
  • Effective systems and processes between partners and Council to ensure the smooth operation of services and facilities.
  • The set-up of governance and reporting structures.
  • The management of the partners fund which helps to improve services in the community.
  • The management of service lease agreements, reporting and various other administration duties.
 
You will bring:
  • A positive, can-do attitude together with a self-motivated, autonomous style.
  • An innovative approach to engaging early education and care service partners to manage future community facilities.
  • Community and development experience including knowledge of community planning and program development and implementation, project management, community engagement and consultation.
  • High level interpersonal skills and effective communication (verbal and written) skills to engage with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • An understanding of the legislative environment and infrastructure.
  • It is desirable, but not essential, that you hold a qualification in Early Years.
  • Demonstrated experience in RFT’s, service lease agreements and report writing.
