About the role
As a Change Project Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the success of organisational change initiatives, with a strong focus on the people side of transformation. You will develop and implement change management strategies to drive engagement, adoption, and long-term sustainability.
Working closely with stakeholders across the Council, you will assess change impacts, support communication efforts, and provide guidance on best practices. Starting with the Business Transformation Program, you will help teams navigate change, address resistance, and ensure smooth transitions. This role is ideal for a proactive change professional who thrives in a dynamic environment.
What your day will look like
- Design, refine, and execute structured change management plans to support business transformation projects.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess change impacts, provide coaching, and address resistance to change.
- Draft and distribute communication materials to ensure clear messaging around change initiatives.
- Work with teams to develop and deliver training programs that enhance change adoption.
- Identify change-related risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure alignment with Wyndham’s risk management policies.
What you will bring
- High level experience in communicating to an internal audience using a range of processes and tools.
- High aptitude in the application of communication, stakeholder management and change management skills and knowledge to search for solutions to new problems and opportunities.
- Experience leading large/complex organisational change initiatives will be an advantage.
- Ability to liaise and manage situations with internal stakeholders to resolve specialist problems and build long term relationships.
- Qualifications and experience relating to change management, stakeholder management or project management, organizational psychology.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
